Learn A Bit More About Me

As a Celebrant I am doing my dream job! Give me the microphone and the wedding ceremony script and I couldn’t be happier!

I love meeting couples and finding out about their wedding plans and being able to give them some ideas and suggestions to make their day a really special one. I am also very pleased that anyone who is love can now legally marry in Australia.

I was born in England and came to Australia a long time ago. I have lived in Melbourne and Sydney and moved to Hobart with a young family in the late 1980’s and believe it was the best thing I ever did.

I am very happily married and a mother and grandmother and really enjoy family life. I have a lively sense of humour and enjoy social gatherings. I enjoy travel and seeing the world and also our own beautiful State of Tasmania. I also enjoy walking, reading, playing barefoot bowls and belong to a book club.

My first job was in a Bank as a teller, and from there I moved onto training others within the bank and then into managing human resources where I spent most of my working life.  I gained a lot of pleasure being able to assist people and solve problems, be it workplace or personal.

I am very happy to be living in Tasmania, it is a beautiful place with stunning scenery and an absolutely perfect place for weddings. There are many venues to choose from, all with fabulous backdrops for photos.
